Hmm..I am always a bit skeptic when shops without proper equipment (dyno-) say they fix your carb.settings for increased performance. But - that's another story, if they make a good job and you trust them, so what ? K&N- airfilters are made in many shapes. Don't know which suits the Savage best. Ask your dealer.
You can very well drive all year around with the same brand of oil.
